Small Business Saturday is looking to make a big impact. Saturday November 26, American Express is pledging to credit customers $25 on their credit card bill for those who shop at small businesses. This is the second year American Express has sponsored the event and it’s catching on. With almost 2.5 million “likes” on Facebook, Small Business Saturday has used the social networking site as a way to spread the word to both consumers and businesses.
The benefits to the consumer are obvious but how can this benefit the business owner?
Small business owners across the country will benefit from this by increasing traffic into their stores and getting customers that may have shopped elsewhere or at big box retailers such as Wal-Mart.
